چکیده
Neurology is focused on a model where patients receive their care through repeated visits to clinics and doctor’s offices. Diagnostic tests often require expensive specialized equipment that are only available in clinics. However, this current has significant drawbacks. First, diagnostic tests, such as daytime EEG sleep studies, occur under artificial conditions the clinic, which may mask or wrongly emphasize clinically important features. Second, early detection high-quality management of chronic neurological disorders repeat measurements accurately capture dynamics disease process, impractical execute clinic for economical logistical reasons. Third, remain inaccessible many due geographical circumstances. Fourth, global disruptions daily life, one caused by COVID-19, can seriously harm if access in-person clinical treatment purposes throttled. Thus, translating procedures patients’ homes will convey multiple substantial benefits potential substantially improve outcomes while reducing cost. NeuroTec was founded accelerate re-imagining neurology promote convergence technological, scientific, medical societal processes. The goal identify validate new digital biomarkers close last mile enabling translation personalized diagnostics therapeutic interventions from patient’s home.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is characterised by chronic inflammation in the central nervous system (CNS), which results in primary demyelination, axonal loss and neurological deficit. MS is believed to be mediated by myelin antigen-reactive T cells, which after priming in the periphery enter the CNS and initiate demyelination. The cause of the autoaggressive T cell response in MS remains unclear. C...
